Protein Hunter is operated by Georges Kamal Issa ("we", "us"). We act as the data controller for personal data processed through the Service.

  • Account data (email, login credentials, name if provided) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: contract.
  • Usage data (pages visited, searches, AI prompts and responses, device identifiers, IP address, approximate location) — to operate, secure, and improve the Service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Support messages — to respond to your inquiries. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Marketing communications (only if you opt in) — to send product updates. Legal basis: consent (you can withdraw any time).

Payment data (card details, billing address, tax info) is collected and processed directly by Paddle as Merchant of Record — we do not see or store your card.

3. Who we share data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, analytics, AI model providers, and support tools we use to run the Service.
  • Paddle.com Market Limited — our Merchant of Record, for sale of the Service, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers where needed.
  • Authorities — where required by applicable law.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers are located outside your country. Where data leaves the UK/EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, audit logs) to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
